Mansions of Madness 2 is where the insert has helped me the most where I got the big box from Daedalus which holds everything up to the next to last expansion. I do have some games where I put cards into plastic bags like Triumph & Tragedy, Time of Crisis and other GMT titles, but that's because most cards are in the same deck just like in Enlund games where only a few scoring and event cards are on the bottom or the top of the deck when I pack it away. Where the resources and cards are already sorted. It saves me so much setup time for TI4, Forbidden Stars, Eclipse, 51st State etc. Inserts are my nr.1 most important purchase after the game and expansions. I prefer to use my Roxley Poker chips for 18xx, Brass, Splotters etc. I do use the Lisboa coins for others thought because they are generic enough I wouldnt mix my Lisboa, Sword & Sorcery and Dinosaur Island coins. I like my metal coins to be themtatic so I do try to get the extra coins. The edition is highly polarizing, so I am not going into a review of it here especially because this is BGG, but my setup for it is clean, organized, fast, and visually impressive.ġ. Probably the deck boxes, card binders, and photo sheet binders I utilized for organizing my Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3e. >What's the nicest custom component you have? Storage solutions get purchased pretty steady for games with a lot of components that have terrible storage in base box (everything FFG) A thin, sticky sleeve is shit and a lot of clear sleeve fill that role as terrible options while better sleeves block the backs and won't let cards fit in box, so you need to get better clear sleeves and that is dicey. Card sleeves are very much hit and miss though. ![]() It can help to replace paper money or flimsy cardboard components to make a frequently used games last longer. In terms of like metal coins or plastic tokens, yeah I got a few, but not much. >You ever purchased upgraded components? Is it common?ĭepends on what you mean by components.
